Land O’ Lakes, FL- Divisional schedules for the 2023 season of the Xtreme Bass Series, the largest grass roots bass tournament trail in Florida, were announced today. The 2023 Championship will once again be hosted by Visit Lake County and Lake Big Bass on the Harris Chain of Lakes November 2-4 out of Venitian Gardens.
With the Championship moving to the Harris Chain for 2023, that division will be put on pause next season to give a level playing field for all competitors during the 2023 Championship. New for the 2023 season will be the South River division going out of Lake Monroe along the St. John’s River. The full schedule will again be setup with 12 divisional events across Florida, featuring 9 events in each division to allow anglers more opportunities to qualify for the end of season championship.
“We’re very excited about the addition of the South River division for the 2023 season,” said Xtreme Bass Series President Brian Stahl. “There are a growing number of anglers in the Northeast Orlando region, and we’re happy to give them another option in which to compete.”
The South River division will not only open the door for new anglers to be a part of the Xtreme Bass Series, but it will also give anglers across the state another avenue towards championship qualification.
“Being able to continue with 12 divisions across Florida for the 2023 season was something we wanted to make sure to continue,” said Stahl. “Our focus with Xtreme Bass Series is to keep competitive events close to home to help limit excessive travel expenses.”
