Land O’ Lakes, FL- The Xtreme Bass Series is gearing up for its 20th year in the 2024 season with an exciting schedule. Building on the success of the 2023 season, which featured 12 divisions across the state, the Series is set to expand to 14 divisions across Florida. The highlight of the upcoming season is the 2024 Championship, slated to take place at the St. John’s River from October 31st thru November 2nd, 2024. With this move to Putnam County, the North River division will take a brief hiatus, but anglers in the region will still have the opportunity to participate in close to home events to qualify for the season-ending Championship.
Xtreme Bass Series President Brian Stahl shared the enthusiasm, “For the 2024 season, we’re thrilled to introduce new divisions at Lake Santa Fe and Lake Okeechobee. Lake Santa Fe, in particular, provides a convenient opportunity for our anglers in North East Florida to qualify for the Championship event on the St. John’s.”

In a bid to enhance the excitement surrounding the 2024 Championship, Rodman Reservoir will be open waters during the main event, leading to the exclusion of the North River division for the year. The Lake Santa Fe division steps in to fill the gap for 2024. There are also noteworthy changes for the South River division, where the 44 Bridge will be off limits, restricting competitors from traveling north of the 44/DeLand Bridge during the competition. This boundary also serves as the cutoff for anglers heading south in the Championship.
“Adding another new division to our upcoming season, we’re thrilled to announce the addition of a Lake Okeechobee division,” Stahl shared. “Responding to angler requests over the past few years, we’re eager to witness the growth and success of this division in the upcoming 2024 season.”
The Harris Chain makes a return to the schedule for the 2024 season as well, providing even more opportunity for anglers to compete locally.
