Suwannee River Event Postponed Due to Rising Water

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has established idle speed, no wake zones for the Suwannee and Santa Fe rivers. These zones will be enforced by the FWC for individual segments of the rivers when water rises to specific levels.

Due to the high waters in the wake of Hurricane Debby, the event scheduled for the Suwannee River division on Sunday August 11th has been postponed until September 29th.

For any questions, call Division Director Donnie Feagle.
