The 2025 GSM Outdoors Battle of the Brands tournament at Lake Guntersville is officially open for registration! The event that draws anglers from all regions of the country to fish the world renowned fishery along the Tennessee River Valley.
Hosted by GSM Outdoors and managed by the Xtreme Bass Series, this tournament has continued to be an event anglers have looked forward to since it’s inception as the Rat-L-Trap Classic. The event has grown over the years after GSM’s acquisition of Bill Lewis Lures to include baits from Bagley, Big Bite Baits, Bill Lewis Lures, Bucca Brand, Buckeye Lures, Frog Factory, Northland Tackle, Robo Worm, Steel Shad, and Yamamoto Baits.
This year’s event will take place on May 4th, 2025, allowing for more brands to be showcased than in previous years, making it a true GSM Outdoors Battle of the Brands. Payback will be one spot for every 5 entries, with a $4,000.00 first place prize based on 200 entries!

Registration Fees:
$120 until April 10th
$135 until April 11th through 20th
$150 after April 21st until May 4th
Participants will have the opportunity to fish in one of the most renowned bass fishing destinations in the United States, with Lake Guntersville offering a diverse range of fishing spots and challenging conditions. The tournament will feature various categories, including individual and team competitions, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
