Palatka, FL- Cody Morgan and Brant Langley grew up watching the Wolfson Bass Tournament weigh-ins, hoping one day to be able to compete in the event and walk across the stage. The 36th Annual event was the 4th event that Morgan has had the opportunity to compete in, and only Langely’s 2nd. The young duo topped a 284 boat field in the 2025 main event, weighing a 25.90 pound, 5 bass limit to pocket $10,000.00 for the first place prize.
Steve Keith and Daniel Robertson finished the day in second place, weighing a 25.68 pound, 5 bass limit. The duo also boated not only the biggest bass of the event, but the biggest bass of the weekend, a 9.55 pound TrophyCatch. Keith and Robertson took home $4,000.00 for second place and an additional $5,000.00 for Overall Big Bass, netting a total of $9,000.00.
John Kremer and Jeff Duncan secured a third place finish on the day. Kremer and Duncan weighed a 24.63 pound, 5 bass limit, anchored by the event’s 2nd Big Bass overall, an 8.39 pound TrophyCatch. The duo took home $3,000.00 for third place and an additional $1,000.00 for 2nd Big Bass.
Rounding out the Top 5 were the teams of Lee Kitchens & Nick Thilveros in fourth place with 23.19 pounds, followed by Michael Hall & Tracy Duckett Pate in fifth place with 22.91 pounds.
Kevin Jack & Kathy Jack weighed the 3rd Big Bass of the event, a 7.81 pound kicker to earn $1,000.00.

The Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Tournament week kicks off with the Lads and Lasses tournament on Thursday, followed by the VIP and Friend’s tournament on Friday. Saturday is when all the real fun begins with the 36th Annual Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Tournament.
Since 1989, the Tournament has helped Wolfson Children’s Hospital fund specialized treatments, lifesaving technology, and capital improvements. The Plant Facilities Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville organized and launched the tournament as a vehicle to fund capital improvements and acquisition of advanced technology. From its inception, the Tournament has raised more than $7 million for Wolfson Children’s.
This year’s event is focused on funding life-saving equipment and technology in the C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Heart Institute at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Baptist Health will match a portion of all gifts to the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Tournament for the Wolfson Bass Tournament Endowment Fund.
