Tournament Director Opportunity
As an Xtreme Bass Series Tournament Director, you’ll take the lead in developing a local division backed by an established tournament organization that has been running competitive bass fishing events for over 20 years.
You’ll help promote your division, grow participation, communicate with anglers, and oversee tournament-day operations in your market.
What Xtreme Bass Series Provides
You aren’t starting a tournament trail from scratch. Xtreme provides the foundation and support to help you build a successful division, including:
- An established tournament organization brand and format
- Tournament rules and operational structure
- Administrative support
- Website and tournament results platform
- Marketing and social media support
- Established sponsor relationships
- Promotional materials
- Tournament equipment when applicable
- Guidance and support as your division grows
Who We’re Looking For
Previous Tournament Director experience is helpful, but finding the right person for the market is more important.
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Know their local fishing and tournament community
- Have a positive reputation among area anglers
- Are dependable, organized, and professional
- Communicate well and enjoy working with people
- Can be fair and diplomatic when making decisions
- Are willing to actively promote and grow their division
- Are comfortable taking responsibility for the preparation, operation, and follow-up of their divisional events
- Have a passion for bass fishing and the tournament community
Can Directors Fish?
Yes! Xtreme Tournament Directors may compete in their own divisional events unless otherwise specified. Directors who choose to fish are still responsible for ensuring tournament operations are properly handled and weigh-in is ready when competitors return.
