Hosted by Visit Bainbridge, the October 22–23 championship will award a Falcon F205 boat package and mark the event’s seventh appearance on Lake Seminole.
LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. — Xtreme Bass Series announced that the 2027 Falcon Boats Divisional Series Championship will take place October 22–23, 2027, on Lake Seminole. Hosted by Visit Bainbridge, the championship is expected to bring 150 to 200 qualifying teams from Florida, Georgia, and Alabama to compete for a Falcon F205 boat package.
Teams will check in and attend the championship banquet on Thursday, October 21st. Competition will take place Friday and Saturday, October 22-23, with tournament boats launching from Earle May Boat Basin in Bainbridge.
Lake Seminole hosted the first Xtreme Bass Series Championship in 2005. The 2027 event will mark the seventh time the championship has been held on the lake.
“Lake Seminole holds a special place in Xtreme Bass Series history,” said Brian Stahl, President of the Xtreme Bass Series. “The first ever Xtreme Bass Series Championship was held there, with just 26 teams. I’m excited to revisit its shores as we move into the next era for the Xtreme Bass Series.”
Gary Niemi and Rowdy Ellerbee won that inaugural championship, becoming the first Xtreme Bass Series Champions. Other past championship winners on Lake Seminole include Fred Rigdon and the late Glen Browne, Dave Bolema and Dan Blanchard, and Robbie Crosnoe and Danny Thompson.
Located in southwest Georgia along the Florida border, Lake Seminole sits at the confluence of the Flint and Chattahoochee rivers, spanning 37,500 acres.
