CopperState Tackle Limited Open at Orange Lake Rescheduled to New Date

The CopperState Tackle Limited Team Open at Orange Lake, originally scheduled for May 9, has been rescheduled to May 30. The change comes as a result of delays in the opening of Heagy-Burry Park, which will not be ready in time for the event. Additionally, low water levels currently prevent the use of the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings boat ramp.

While the new Heagy-Burry ramp is expected to open in early May, the exact timeline remains uncertain. After coordinating with Marion County officials, it was determined that postponing to a later date provides the most reliable option for ensuring a successful tournament. Though water levels will still be low, the lake is expected to be accessible.
