Competing teams in the CopperState Tackle Limited Team Open will already have plenty of motivation heading into the Lake Kissimmee event – a $10,000 first-place prize based on a full field of 60 boats and the chance to finish in the top 15 to secure a berth in the CopperState Tackle Limited Team Open Championship, where a guaranteed $20,000 first-place prize awaits. But now, there’s an even bigger opportunity on the line.
The Lake Kissimmee event, the final open event of the season, has been designated as a sanctioned qualifier for The Ultimate Angler Championship. That means eligible anglers aren’t just fishing for a top 15 finish, they could be punching their ticket to one of the richest bass tournaments in the country.
A Shot at $500,000
The highest-finishing team at Lake Kissimmee that holds a current Unified Pros membership will earn a coveted invitation to the Ultimate Angler Championship, held at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Alabama, from September 27 through October 3, 2026. With a first-place prize of $500,000, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Membership in the Unified Pros is a one-time fee of $500 per angler. It’s important to note that the invitation is tied to individual membership status. If only one angler on a team holds an active Unified Pros membership, only that angler will receive the invitation. For both teammates to have the opportunity to compete at Lake Guntersville, both must be registered members. Teams planning to compete should ensure their membership is in order well ahead of the June 20th event.
