Where to stay

How to Qualify

There are two paths to Lake Seminole: fish six events in a single division, or eight events across multiple divisions.

Thanks to CopperState Tackle, every divisional points champion receives no-cost entry into the Championship.

Frequent Fishing Program

Teams that compete in at least 10 Divisional Series events qualify. The highest-finishing eligible team at the Championship wins the Michael J. Blocher Memorial Award and $500.

Back Where It Started

Lake Seminole hosted the first Xtreme Bass Series Championship in 2005, with just 26 teams. Gary Niemi and Rowdy Ellerbee won it to become the first Xtreme Bass Series Champions. The 2027 event marks the seventh time the Championship has been held on the lake, which spans 37,500 acres where the Flint and Chattahoochee rivers meet along the Georgia–Florida line.
