Steve Mui and Anthony DeRosa took home the win in the ninth event of the season for the Lake Tarpon division on September 13th, their third this year. Mui and DeRosa topped the 9 boat field with an 18.87 pound, 5 bass limit. Lou Hartung and Chris Futrell took home Big Bass honors with a 6.04 pound kicker.
With the win and the close of the final event of the season for the Tarpon division, Steve Mui and Anthony DeRosa secured the division points title, putting them in contention to compete for the Fitzgerald Fishing Team of the Year at the 2025 Blazer Boats Xtreme Bass Series Championship presented by Mercury Marine and Visit Central Florida Sports.

The Xtreme Bass Series is the largest grassroots bass tournament trail across Florida, featuring 13 divisions and 117 events throughout the 2025 season. Anglers can compete in close-to-home events on local bodies of water, keeping costs down and affording them the opportunity to compete in the end of season championship. Teams who compete in 7 of 9 events in one division, or 8 events in a combination of divisions will qualify for the end of season championship event. The 2025 Championship will be held October 23-25 on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes at Camp Mack.
