Okeechobee, FL —Xtreme Bass Series today revieled the long anticipated announcement of the 2026 Xtreme Bass Series Championship. The end of season championship will be held at the world renowned Lake Okeechobee and will be presented by the Okeechobee Tourism Development Council, taking place October 15–17, 2026.
For the seventh time in two decades, the end of season event will take place on the historic Lake Okeechobee. The event will showcase teams of anglers from across Florida, South Georgia, and Southern Alabama where anglers will be vying for a new boat/motor package as the grand prize.
“Lake Okeechobee is one of the most storied fisheries in the country,” said Brian Stahl, President of Xtreme Bass Series. “We’re thrilled to bring our championship back to a lake that’s synonymous with big bass and big moments.”
Those moments include seeing Chris Maxwell and Michael Porter crowned champions in the most recent championship event on the Big O in 2022, where they topped a field of 145 teams.
Known as Florida’s ‘Inland Sea’, Lake Okeechobee spans over 730 square miles and has long been a bucket-list destination for competitive anglers chasing trophy largemouth.
