After weighing a 26.05-pound, five-bass limit on Day 1 to sit in fourth place, Smith and Folks surged to the top on Day 2 with another impressive 25.48-pound limit. Their two-day total of 51.53 pounds secured the win and earned them the tournament’s top prize: a Blazer 625 NAP package powered by a Mercury 250 HP Pro XS, outfitted with Power-Pole Move, 8′ Power-Pole Blades, Power-Pole Charge, Lowrance electronics, and Trojan Batteries—valued at $83,000.
Stalveys Finish Strong, Earn Team of the Year Honors
Father-son duo Lee and Parker Stalvey, who began Day 2 in third place after posting a 27.54-pound limit, followed up with 22.17 pounds to finish second overall with a 49.71-pound total. Their runner-up finish earned them $4,500 in cash, a pair of 8′ Power-Pole Blades, and a Power-Pole Charge, bringing their total prize value to $11,000. The Stalveys also clinched the 2025 Fitzgerald Fishing Team of the Year title as the highest-finishing divisional points champions, earning free entries into one division for the 2026 season and a prize package from Fitzgerald Fishing.
Brewers’ MegaBag Leads Day 1, Finish Third Overall
The mother-son team of Cheryl and Kyle Brewer made headlines on Day 1 with a tournament-leading 32.64-pound MegaBag. Despite challenging, wind-blown conditions on Day 2, they added 16.43 pounds to finish third with a 49.07-pound total. The Brewers took home $3,000 in cash and a Lowrance HDS Pro 12, totaling $6,000 in prizes. They also earned an additional $1,250 for the Day 1 Big Bass—a TrophyCatch weighing 8.58 pounds.
Carter and Lane Jr. Take Fourth with Early Momentum
Drew Carter and Bobby Lane Jr. jumped out to an early lead on Day 1 with a 27.68-pound bag, ultimately finishing the day in second place. On Day 2, they added 15.90 pounds for a 43.58-pound total, securing fourth place. The Central Florida divisional champions earned $2,000 and a Power-Pole Charge, with a total prize value of $3,500. They also received $500 for the second-largest bass on Day 1—a 7.98-pound kicker.
Keith and Dowling Round Out Top Five
Chris Keith and Ben Dowling entered Day 2 in sixth place after weighing 23.19 pounds on Day 1. They followed up with a 17.27-pound limit to finish fifth overall with 40.46 pounds. Their efforts earned them $1,500, plus an additional $500 as the highest-finishing Blazer Bucks-qualified team.
Big Bass Honors and Notable Catches
Mark Stanton and Bryan Moore claimed Big Bass honors on Day 2 with an 8.65-pound TrophyCatch, earning $1,250 and the event’s Big Bass hardware. Meanwhile, Harris Chain divisional champions Clayburn and Christian Reed took home second Big Bass honors for Day 2 with an 8.36-pound TrophyCatch.
In total, over $120,000 in cash and prizes were awarded at the 2025 Xtreme Bass Series Championship.
