Our schedule and plans for the Orange Lake Division have been revised once more. Changes to lake-size regulations, which were brought to our attention after our previous post, will prevent us from hosting events as we originally planned during the tournament exemption closure period. Without a tournament exemption permit, any bass measuring 20 inches or longer must be released immediately, making tournament operations impractical.
Construction on the Heagy-Burry ramp is expected to be completed near the end of March, assuming no additional delays. Once the ramp officially opens, we will begin holding events at that location.
The season will now open at Lake Santa Fe and will continue there until water level and ramp conditions allow for holding events at Orange Lake.
