Waiting for Water: Start of Orange Lake Season Postponed

Due to historically low water levels and a poor rainfall forecast, the first two events for the Orange Lake division have been postponed and rescheduled. To ensure the least hazardous fishing conditions for our competitors, we have restructured the 2026 schedule to begin in late February.

Because tournament-size exemption permits are unavailable for the July 25th and August 22nd events, we will operate strictly under Florida state size laws. Please note the following changes for these two dates:

Earlier Weigh-in: To help promote better fish care during the summer heat, these two events will feature an earlier weigh-in time, starting at 2:00 PM.

Reduced Bag Limit: The tournament limit is reduced from 5 fish to 3 fish per team.

Size Restrictions: Teams may only weigh in one fish per person that is 16 inches or longer. The third fish in your bag must be under 16 inches. If fishing solo, you will only be allowed to weigh one fish 16 inches or longer.
