Land O’ Lakes, FL – The Xtreme Bass Series is proud to announce the launch of a premier new tournament trail for the 2026 season: The CopperState Tackle Limited Team Open.
This new series introduces an exclusive, high-stakes format featuring four regular-season events and a season-ending championship. True to its name, the field is strictly limited to the first 60 teams to register per event.
Key Series Highlights:
- Entry Fee: $600.00 per team.
- Field Size: Capped at 60 boats maximum.
- Membership: Not required for the inaugural year.
- Payout Ratio: 1 in 6 teams will cash a check.
Schedule of Events
- February 21: Suwannee River
- April 4: Harris Chain of Lakes
- May 9: Orange Lake
- June 20: Kissimmee Chain of Lakes
- September 19–20: Championship (Location TBA)
Note: The previously scheduled Xtreme Bass Series Suwannee River divisional event on Feb. 21 will be rescheduled to accommodate this launch.
Regular Season Payout Structure
With a full field of 60 teams, each regular-season event will feature a $30,000.00 total purse. The payout breakdown is as follows:
- 1st Place: $10,000.00
- 2nd Place: $6,000.00
- 3rd Place: $4,000.00
- 4th Place: $2,000.00
- 5th Place: $1,500.00
- 6th Place: $1,200.00
- 7th Place: $1,100.00
- 8th Place: $1,000.00
- 9th Place: $900.00
- 10th Place: $800.00
- Big Bass: $1,500.00
The Championship
The Top 15 teams from each regular-season event will earn an invitation to the Championship. This two-day event will feature a $50,000.00 total purse (based on a full field) and a Guaranteed 1st Place Prize of $20,000.00, regardless of the number of teams competing.
Championship Payout (based on 60 teams):
- 1st Place: $20,000.00
- 2nd Place: $10,000.00
- 3rd Place: $6,000.00
- 4th Place: $4,000.00
- 5th Place: $2,500.00
- 6th Place: $1,500.00
- 7th Place: $1,000.00
- 8th Place: $1,000.00
- 9th Place: $1,000.00
- 10th Place: $1,000.00
- Big Bass: $1,000.00 (Each Day)
Registration Details
- Priority Registration: Opens Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 2:00pm.
- Priority is given to teams registering for all 4 events.
- A minimum of a 50% deposit or full payment is required.
- Priority closes January 18th (unless the field fills sooner).
- Individual Event Registration: If the 60-boat field does not fill during the priority window, individual event registration will open on a first-come, first-served basis.
